Kind of going on my last post, I was wondering if it’d be possible to expand what data https://api.twitch.tv/kraken/channels/ provides.
It would be awesome if for instance it indicates whether the channel is online or not, and if it is what the current viewer number is.
Why am I asking for this when I can just use the streams?= to check if a user is online? Because I’m graphing the data, I want to pull data every x minutes on specific channels and map them. So for me it doesn’t matter if they’re online or offline, I just need the data, I need to use /channels/. If I can figure out if the channel is online thats an added bonus. Currently this requires 2 calls, I’d love to see it become 1. Because while I do say ‘bonus’ I do need to know if the user is online and how many viewers they have…
Unless of course somebody knows something I don’t and can tell me how to do it in 1
