# Extension getting started color not changing

Hi guys,

I just started learning about extensions and wanted to try out the developer rig. I am trying the tutorial where the circle color changes based on button press. However, the color of the circle does not change. I followed the github instructions and I get a log that it is requesting a color cycle, but nothing happens afterwards.
