# Feature request: stacking of the identical chat message flood

Yo.

You know the twitch chat: a lot of people are flooding the same emote or the same meme message. On the other hand there’s always a few lunatics who are trying to send a longer message or actually a fresh and relevant comment (not me tho) but it instantly disappears in the flood.

I could easily imagine the chat to have 30 second stacking window and the message that gets duplicated kind of stays in place and maybe its number grows with more spam, giving room and slowing down the chat allowing for more meme, while flooding will still be fine as the memers will see they get stacked into a high number
