Firehose? How to get authentication token?

Was the firehose updated?

When loading I get “error authenticating” is the auth something new?
How do I get this new authentication?
I don’t see anything on the authentication guide about it.

You are using an undocumented API that is not supposed to be used by third party devs.

Only API’s that go https://api.twitch.tv/kraken are supported

Yep, was using it to grab keywords and such then post them in a terminal, was fun while it lasted.

Firehose isn’t supported for third parties. We did patch the auth bug as you can see.

There isn’t a way to request access. The firehose wasn’t intended as a supported developer interface. What would be your use case for something like this?

Well, was using it to hunt for keywords like my username to find what chat it’s being used, then drop in and say hi like batman.
Or used to find a keyword (deepbot) and to test if it is a user in need of support of said bot.
