# Get channel description via API

Is it possible to get a channel’s description via the API? The related endpoints only provide the channel title (even the one used to search in descriptions, which looks weird).

That would be the `description` from the Get Users endpoint [Reference | Twitch Developers](https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/api/reference#get-users)

Hey, double-checked this endpoint, this is not what I’m looking for. The description I’m looking for is the long description under the video stream, with images and such.
