# Get informations about several channels at the same time

Hi !

I have an issue with twitch API. When i do a research using : “[https://api.twitch.tv/kraken/search/channels?q=test1](https://api.twitch.tv/kraken/search/channels?q=test1)”, i would like to read some information from it like the name of each channel, if they are online or not, the number of viewers … When i’m looking for only one specific channel, i don’t have any problème but here i don’t know how to get information from several channels at the same time.

Is there any particular reason you’re using the search endpoint? You could use the [streams](https://github.com/justintv/Twitch-API/blob/master/v3_resources/streams.md#get-streams) endpoint with a comma separated list of channels to get all the information you’re after.

eg. [https://api.twitch.tv/kraken/streams?channel=channel1,channel2,channel3](https://api.twitch.tv/kraken/streams?channel=channel1,channel2,channel3)
