I have submitted 2 bots I am working on: @larsenbot and @teambattlebot . Hope they can get approved, because I am experiencing issues with sending whispers to most of the viewers in chat.
Potentially it’s because the receiver typed something in the channel chat and not in a direct whisper to the bot? Does that change when the bot gets approved? Sending command was correct as far as I can see:
<PRIVMSG #larsen :/w monx_br HeyGuys This is a test
Edit: Turns out it doesnt matter if the bot get’s ‘known’. Whispers still do not arrive 
Can anyone tell me what the requirements are for a whisper to be accepted by the twitch server? Do whispers need to be sent from the same channel as the user you are sending the whisper to (so #monx_br for monx_br for example)? It seems to be something similar as described here: IRC connections unable to send whispers?
