I have when they want a user name and aswell id, u have to be creativ and kinda make 2 usernames or something. now that i’m not doing anything but sitting home and seaching for pharmacyreviews.md because of my health issues that’s not a big problem but usually that is and i hate it!

I do have 2FA activated and do not send spam.

If your user was NOT added at this point, that infers there was a problem with the submission

I’ve been looking for a way to fetch my bots user id. But the link spits out info I have no idea about: https://api.twitch.tv/kraken/users/foobar?client_id=q6batx0epp608isickayubi39itsckt is what you guys suggest and say required, but I’m unclear what I’m looking for.
I made ban_chair_Bot a year+ ago, is there something I’m missing?

Yeah, I already added the fix to it, sorry you must of replied before the edit hit. It wasn’t throwing the correct info no matter HOW I put it in tho, I kept getting: {“error”:“Bad Request”,“status”:400,“message”:“No client id specified”} And I changed the name only, to make sure I didn’t have to write a reply.
Once I fetched it with the extension it started throwing the correct id, that’s what confused me.

Just wondering what the approximate time scale there is until bots get to become “known”? I have recently submitted one. Will i get an email to say that it has been done or should i just periodically check the API output?

The heightened limits are crucial for my new bot update, and I pretty much can’t release it without it.

For those curious about how long it takes - don’t bother. It’s a manual task and may take a little while to be updated. I myself applied about a month ago and only now checked using the endpoint mentioned in the OP and found that indeed the known_bot field is set to true.
Just check back here every now and then, xan having posted usually is a good indicator that it got updated

Hello, i have an question regarding this twitch bots, i have been ban chat on twitch literally asking what a viewer would ask “ what is this stream about?” And the next thing i get is “You are banned from talking in pmsproxy for 2093 more seconds.” may i ask if there is anything wrong i did here? I mean seriously? What did i even do? I got ban chat the first time 500+ mins for asking that question, so i waited patiently for what i did after 500 mins, after the time pass, i ask again, what did i do? And guess what? BAM “You are banned from talking in pmsproxy for 2093 more seconds.” if this bots belong to twitch, please solve this issue man. Its really fustrating me out

Just filled out the form for my bot (DropMixinbot). Question: Right now, I’ve noticed that my bot can’t respond to whispers right away. For instance, someone whispers my bot a command, and for a couple minutes, my replies won’t go through. If that person keeps whispering, eventually (somewhere in the 3 to 5 minute range, I believe) the whisper replies from my bot start going through, but until then, nothing…
Is this a restriction that will go away once my bot is recognized by this? Or just something that is always a part of Twitch’s restrictions?
