# How do I upload my Extension?

I have absolutely no Idea what to do. I tried to follow the steps shown on the [https://dev.twitch.tv](https://dev.twitch.tv) website , but I can not run a local test. Every time it just says “Configure this extension before you go live to provide the best experience for your viewers.”.  
Is something wrong with my files?

Everytime I try to configure at the extension dashboard.

doesn’t have a place where this error appears

or you on about a config view over on

> [Creator Dashboard](https://dashboard.twitch.tv/extensions)

if you are getting something like

Then your config view did not load or errored or something  
You can use network tools to investigate and debug this
