I’m trying to programmatically determine if a channel’s chat is in follower-only mode but I don’t see an API for it. Any suggestions? ![](https://d2opxh93rbxzdn.cloudfront.net/original/2X/9/9ce829243ce08f959b3b34778c26658db97f4785.png) ---

Most information, such as if a chat is in followers only mode, is gained through a connection to chat, not the API. You can find documentation on roomstate tags here: [https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/irc/tags#roomstate-twitch-tags](https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/irc/tags#roomstate-twitch-tags) ---
