Hi! This is my first time here.
I was interested in listening to the [Channel Points Custom Reward Redemption Add](https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/eventsub/eventsub-subscription-types/#channelchannel_points_custom_reward_redemptionadd) event on EventSub. Under the “Authorization” section there’s only a statement about the needed scope, so I thought that being a moderator/editor (and use said scopes) would be more than enough. After troubleshooting for a while I learnt the hard way that it is only allowed for the broadcaster, and no one else.

My project needs to listen to multiple channel’s redemptions, so my scenario would involve an account which is a moderator/editor on all listened channels.
Would there be any way to listen for a channel’s custom redemptions (without any text input) which has some less strict permissions?
I currently cannot find a suitable approach for this issue.

No

There is no `moderator_user_id` in the condition to ID the moderator you have the permission of, you require the broadcaster to authorise the tool.

let alone to manage redeems (mark as completed or refunded) the clientID needs to be the one that created the reward.
