When loading widget via [https://www.twitch.tv/widgets/live\_embed\_player.swf?channel={channel}](https://www.twitch.tv/widgets/live_embed_player.swf?channel=%7Bchannel%7D) page timeouts, on [http://www.twitch.tv/widgets/live\_embed\_player.swf?channel={channel}](http://www.twitch.tv/widgets/live_embed_player.swf?channel=%7Bchannel%7D) all working well. Is there a way to load this widget over HTTPS and display content? ---

Twitch does not support SSL yet, which is why it doesn’t load. It has been highly requested that Twitch support SSL, but I have no idea when they will commit to rolling it out. ---
