Noobie here ! Got the Code - Got the Token - But who is it?

Then you deal with the bots when they appear since the bad actors just spool up new accounts and cross check the lists to see if their new accounts are on that list or not.

More likely the bad actors have buggered off or being caught by Twitch systems in advance, or just not targetting your channel.

Since the primary problem is the bad actors are motived and just make new accounts. Cluttering up the blocks system will not protect you from newly created “attack accounts”.

Sure you can reject our advice, but you will have dealt with the bots as the bots attacked your channel, and in general those bots will not be on the list or appear on the list after they have done an attack run.

bad actors will use “fire and forget” so the accounts they use get used once maybe twice before they cycle in new accounts.

So blocking them does nada. since the bad actors stop using those accounts, and twitch will catch and remove them over time.
