(Post has been answered, thank you)

Thank you in advance for your help with this!

Does the pop-out extension to view/manage channel point redemptions cut off after a certain number of redemptions?

I use a redemption for a free giveaway that builds up 500+ per stream before we register all the entries - I’m worried it might cut off after a certain point (e.g. 1000), which would make it impossible to record older entries if any go “missing”.

To the best of my knowledge, Twitch hasn’t provided a way to save or download a list of channel point redemptions, but if there is a method, please let me know. Thank you again!

No idea, this is the third party developers support room, we don’t know too much about what the first party website supports or doesn’t support.

Use the API to achieve this

or use EventSub to be notified in real time.

In my opinion: this is not a permitted under the rules and not a thing I would advise the broadcasters I work with to support.

It’s not free if you are using Channel Points to enter with.
As Points are transactioned for a entry to a giveaway.
Since you can earn CP’s from Giftin Subs for example

Additionally Channel Points are not available with in all countries, so you would disallow entry to some users.

This may in fact not be allowed under the ROC/Acceptable Use Policy

https://www.twitch.tv/p/en/legal/channel-points-acceptable-use-policy/

A “free giveaway” may be in violation of

  • When creating Points redemption opportunities, be sure to follow all applicable tax laws in your jurisdiction. Compliance with local tax laws is your responsibility and Twitch bears no responsibility for ensuring your compliance with these laws.

or

  • Do not create Points redemption opportunities that constitute gambling.

or the final point

So I don’t not believe offering a Giveaway via Channel Points is allowed and generally is not a good idea, legally speaking.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT LEGAL ADVICE AND YOU SHOULD CONSULT A LAWYER FOR LEGAL MATTERS.
