# Stream snipping

Hello everyone,

I wanted to initiate a quick discussion on the possibility of creating a connection between Riot Games’ IP addresses and Twitch chats as a potential measure to prevent the similarity of IP addresses and mitigate stream sniping during live broadcasts.

Stream sniping has been a concern for both content creators and game developers, impacting the integrity of competitive gaming experiences. Establishing a connection between Riot Games’ servers and Twitch chats could potentially enhance security measures by cross-referencing IP addresses and identifying suspicious activities.

So what do y’all think ? Is that possible ?
