Thanks Berry, it’s working now…
Could you please tell me where I fudged my embed? Thank you!
alright after looking this over 20+times i can’t figure it out. Any help is appreciated.
https://darkkugu.wixsite.com/productions
With SSL works fine here, I see the http version is redirecting to the https version
You had spaces after every domain (and the channel name) in the list and your filesusr domain was wrong
https://player.twitch.tv?channel=thebatguin&parent=darkkugu.wixsite.com&parent=www.darkkugu.wixsite.com&parent=darkkugu-wixsite-com.filesusr.com
Is the correct URL
Thank you Barry. Is there a way to prevent it being just a white box completely for some viewers and is there a way to remove chat so the whole window is just the actual stream?
A white box?
Refer to the embed docs
Which cover what to change to meet your requirements
I apologize, I may be misunderstanding. When I open the site on anything but firefox, it shows a white box. I just want to prevent this happening completely.
Works fine for me in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge (on windows) for me
Strange. Ok, I will leave it as is. Thank you so much for your time. I really appreciate you doing this for everyone, I had all but gave up until I found this thread.
I swapped to non-interactive/no chat embed and am getting this error. I tried on 3 browsers and get the attached error, or the previous error: player refused to connect. Thank you again for your help.
The URL of
https://player.twitch.tv/?doomaflitchy&parent=doomagaming.com&www.doomagaming.com&www-doomagaming-com.filesusr.com&muted=true
is incorrect
https://player.twitch.tv/?channel=doomaflitchy&parent=doomagaming.com&parent=www.doomagaming.com&parent=f590a74a-1661-46ad-b045-f5ae9f3a37db.htmlcomponentservice.com&muted=true
It was working when I originally replied but now is not
Google likes to change the htmlcomponentservice URL every time you save, so you may have problems
Working now! Thank you!
I’m having trouble with my embedded video showing up on mobile devices. My site is www.wbtsfm.com and the video is on www.wbtsfm.com/live and on the phone the link is www.wbtsfm.com/live-mobile.
On Desktops and laptops it works just fine but on mobile devices it says player.twitch.tv refused to connect. Can you please help?
Your URL should be
https://player.twitch.tv/?channel=wbtsfm&parent=www.wbtsfm.com&parent=www-wbtsfm-com.filesusr.com
Hi, youve answered so many people on this thread so I apologize for being yet another. I have tried a bunch of the variations I found on this thread, replacing with my information instead, but I cannot get it to display anything but the “Whoops” configuring issue. I’m doing something wrong but I’ve tried for almost 2 hours now. Please help me if you have time. I am new to streaming and also to coding of any kind.
My main site is: https://tajmosesart.wixsite.com/tapiocahghostart
Stream Page: https://tajmosesart.wixsite.com/tapiocahghostart/live-stream
My twitch chnl: Twitch
The code I currently have is
< iframe src="Twitch frameborder=“0” allowfullscreen=“true” scrolling=“no” height=“378” width=“720”>< a
I have tried checking it on the live site, in case the editor version just wasn’t showing but It didn’t show there either.
Thank you for your time.
<iframe src="https://player.twitch.tv/?channel=tapiocahghost&parent=tajmosesart.wixsite.com&parent=tajmosesart-wixsite-com.filesusr.com" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" scrolling="no" height="378" width="720"></iframe>
You were missing a "
at the end of the URL in the code that wasn’t helping
Hi, I’m having trouble embedding a twitch video onto Wix. Any help is greatly appreciated as I have tried every possible solution and the video still does not appear. Thanks!
Thank you SO much. I was endlessly frustrated with this and you made my evening. I really appreciate it!
