Trying to grab stream video metrics

Hi all,

I’ve been trying to research how to grab video metrics from a twitch stream with no luck so far. I’m trying to graph live stream data like bitrate, fps, etc, but I haven’t been able to find any tools on how to actually pull the data. I’ve gone through the Twitch API and haven’t found anything that would help me in this case, aside from maybe average fps. I know that Rich Stanway created a great stream analyzer tool (https://r-1.ch/analyzer/), which gave me hope that there was some way to grab this data, but again I haven’t been able to find how to do it myself. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks!

P.S. I was trying not to post in the API section because this isn’t exactly an API question, but couldn’t find a better place to post. If this is in the wrong place I’m sorry!

That tool actually downloads the video segments and performs the calculations it’s self so you will not find all the information in the API.

Yea I knew that I couldn’t get anything like that from the API, but I didn’t have much of a clue how he got that data until now. I’ll have to look into downloading video segments, thanks!
