Hi everyone!

I’m developing LamperougeBot, a Twitch chatbot currently serving around 500 channels. It provides custom commands, moderation tools, and event notifications, using EventSub to receive events and the Send Chat Message API to send messages.

As the bot grows, I’d like to understand the process for obtaining verified bot status and higher chat rate limits. The documentation says verification reviews are temporarily paused.

Is that still the case? Can I submit a request for future review? What requirements should the bot meet, and what usage statistics or other information should I provide?

Also, is there a reliable way to check whether our bot account already has verified status? The account is **lamperougebot**.

To clarify, I’m asking about verified bot status for increased rate limits, rather than the Chat Bot Badge.

Thanks for your help!

If/when this returns then that information will be provided.

There isn’t beyond applying for it, which you can’t, then being informed that you have it. So you’d know.
