Change Twitch API overlay

Hello everyone,

I want to embed a stream channel on a website, but actually with this Twitch API when the user moves his cursor on the screen, informations are displayed like the name of channel on top, pause button on bottom, and i would like to change this overlay to put my own links onto the stream.
Any idea to make this possible ?

There isn’t a supported way to change the overlay for embeds. I’ll leave it as an exercise for you to figure out if there is an unsupported way.

Like @DallasNChains said no api supports that, your best bet would be looking into a potential API with OBS or xSplit and see if those capabilities exist, I know they use to have a remote OBS control so you maybe able to do something with that, just a thought.
