I have recently heard rumors that in the twitch code it is designed to not let views count if I have more than one stream tab open and running. So like say I am lurking in two streams, my views won’t count in either stream, so it is better to just watch one streamer so at least one of my views is being counted. I wanted to see if you all knew any more information about this. Also as a streamer this would be nice to know so I can inform my community.
Twitch will never expose their algorithms on how views are counted. Just watch twitch how you want that is enjoyable for you.
