Embed clip without HUD/UI question

Wanted to clarify the requirements for embedded experiences. Specifically, point 1.3:

1.3 Embeds must utilize only Twitch-approved player elements and should not be obscured in any way by other page elements in whatever domain context they may appear. Certain features, such as the ability to send chat messages, may be disabled if the iframe is obscured or not visible.

I’m looking to utilise OBS remote debugging to hook into a clip and embed and hide some of the UI elements are the current embed player isn’t practical. The goal is to create a cleaner shoutout command that doesn’t violate ToS.

My question is if what I have described above would violate requirement 1.3. My current interpretation is: no. The wording is vague, however, and open to interpretation.

Thank you and have a great weekend!

When you say you want to “hide some of the UI elements”, that sounds like it would be violating D.1. of the Developer Agreement

https://legal.twitch.com/legal/developer-agreement/

D. Requirements for Specific Features and APIs

  1. Embeddable Experiences

Do not modify, replace, interfere with, limit, block, cover, or obscure: (a) the functionality of embeddable experiences, including advertisements within the player; or (b) the Twitch Marks.

I’m not a lawyer though, nor is anyone else here, so I’d recommend reaching out to a legal expert.
