Feedback on twitch-js-sdk?

I’m specifically talking about:

I’m sorry if this is a completely noob question but do people still use it? It seems like it hasn’t been updated in awhile. Not sure if it’s just because it was built to last or it was forgotten about.

Looks like it has some good functionality but I’m just wondering if Twitch API has changed recently that the js-sdk hasn’t updated for.

Twitch is the first API I’m going to try and use (so any helpful links would be appreciated).
