Feedback Site Seems Useless / Subs Tenure

The Developer Feedback site seems neglected, at best. Here’s a great example: https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310213-developers/suggestions/37659133-subs-tenure-in-helix

This suggestion was made SIX YEARS AGO, is in the top 10, and has zero Twitch feedback or engagement.

As I recently discovered, analytics around finances are extremely lacking. Maybe it’s because I’m not a super-elite-partner, but the ability to export data that shows who subscribed, when, for how long, if it was a gift (and if so, who gifted it), and how much I made does not exist. This is basic information that every other cam site provides out of the box. How I do I know Twitch is being honest without detailed data on my earnings?

@jbulava, would love your input here.

It is certainly evident that timely responses to UserVoice suggestions can be improved. For developer feedback, we need to re-establish a cadence for review which has been lacking. The most upvoted suggestions should be acknowledged at a minimum and we should consider this effort to start off 2026.

Regarding finances specifically, there is a Channel Analytics API suggestion that has been deferred since users can manually download revenue information from the Creator Dashboard under Analytics > Overview > Export Data. Does the data in this export meet your need? How would an API to either retrieve a link to this CSV or provide the data directly help your workflow? Feel free to add here or on the UserVoice entry.

First of all, THANK YOU for responding! I hope my PayPal bribe wasn’t the reason

The exported CSV does not meet the need as it doesn’t include: exact (gifted) sub time, gifted by whom, and to whom it was gifted. At a minimum, it should be “X user gifted Y subs, at this level, at Z time.” The export also doesn’t include a list of who subscribed for themselves and what day they did it.

It’s easy to get a list of top subscribers, but not the day they started.

I had thought the API would have this information, which is why I went there. I’d be just as happy if the info was available in the regular old manual export!

This is pretty big issue for non-traditional streamers (you know what I mean) coming over to Twitch and being unable to run the same kind of analytics they’re used to.

It would be beneficial to add your use case to the UserVoice, as like any investment in developer time it’s going to be weighed up on what sort of impact that feature request has, what benefits it brings that can’t already be achieved through other means, how many developers will benefit, how many end users will benefit, etc…

UserVoice Comments that just say “I want this”, but with no information about why or what value it will add, are not particularly valuable in swaying Twitch to make it seem like a worthwhile investment of dev time over the many other features. Comments that are just people ranting nonsense are also not likely to sway devs into thinking it’s a worthwhile time/maintenance investment.

Posted.

If the grounds for gaining attention on a persistent issue is being able to sway developers with prose, then it’s not the users who are at fault. Why even have an upvote button? Also doesn’t help that it was admitted earlier in this thread that UserVoice is neglected.

I appreciate the attention now, but my expectation that Twitch actually cares is close to zero.

edit: It’s actually extremely discouraging when I see “Related Topics” (included as a screenshot below) with the SAME ISSUE going back years.
