The organization I co-direct has a custom endpoint in kraken under the route /users/:id/chat/badges/ that allows us to assign a special global chat badge to a user. Since /users/:id is now deprecated in helix, I’m not sure where our endpoint has migrated to.
I can confirm that our badge still appears in the list of global chat badges that the new version of the API returns. Our primary development contact is no longer at Twitch, and partner support said I should reach out here.
