How can i get a channel's twitch follower count?

I’ve been making a discord bot for twitch stats, and I need a way to get the total amount of a channel’s twitch followers. I’ve found some answers, but they are all using kraken, and when I try it, it just gives an error because it is outdated. Is there any way to do this? Thanks!
