How to debug RTMP streaming


I’m developing an application to stream a video to a channel via the RTMP protocol through the ingest server.

My RTMP client is able to make handshakes and all but the connection stops right after the handshake for some reason. Is there a way by which I can debug this issue?

I have been stuck at this for quite a long time now. Is there some log which twitch provides some way? Or some way I can debug from my client side?

Is there any way I can simulate the Twitch server locally? I tried running SRS as an RTMP server locally and my app works fine with that.
