[New API] How to find out which streams I follow are live

With the v5 API, I could simply request https://api.twitch.tv/kraken/streams/followed to get a list of which of the streams I currently follow are live. This is very nice, because I can bulk lookup streams (>100) I’m interested in with a single API call, and don’t have to maintain an internal list of “Interested in” channels.

Moving to the new API, there doesn’t seem to be a way to get a list of live followers, so you have to maintain 2 lists and request your followers’ status in batches, eating up API time and requests. Indeed, apart from seeing who is following who, there doesn’t appear to be any use at all for following.

For things like WebHooks (especially), being able to subscribe to your follower list with a single request would be fantastic, and would help with API limits.
