Hello,
This is sort of a hybrid question for Spring and Twitch. Spring doesn’t have the backend magic that it does for other Oauth providers like google for Twitch, so I am sort of struggling to get all of this set up (it’s my first time doing it).
The problem is that whenever I try to run spring-boot I get an exception saying “authorizationGrantType cannot be null”. After doing some looking around I found SO threads like this that said to replace redirect-uri-template to get things to work again. After doing that my application is still failing on launch with that same error.
Included below are my application.properties file and my pom file:
Application.properties
spring.mvc.view.prefix=/WEB-INF/jsp/
spring.mvc.view.suffix=.jsp
spring.security.oauth2.client.registration.twitch.client-id=redacted
spring.security.oauth2.client.registration.twitch.client-secret=redacted
spring.security.oauth2.client.registration.twitch.redirect-uri-template=http://localhost:8080/login/oauth2/code/twitch
spring.security.oauth2.client.provider.twitch.authorization-uri=https://id.twitch.tv/oauth2/authorize
spring.security.oauth2.client.provider.twitch.token-uri=https://id.twitch.tv/oauth2/token
spring.security.oauth2.client.provider.twitch.user-info-uri=https://api.twitch.tv/helix/users

I was wondering what exactly I was doing wrong here and if anyone would potentially be willing to share their Spring Oauth configuration for Twitch.
