Subscriber account for testing

Is there anyway to test the subscription API in my app without asking around for an account that has a subscription program and then also subscribers? I just need to test /users/:user/subscriptions/:channel to see if a user is subscribed to a channel?

This has already been asked here, and all we know is that they are looking into it.
