Twitch Points System API

Hi - I’m developing a game that has full twitch integration and we want to use the Points rewards that was just released to trigger events in the game. This would be simple enough if the Redemption notifications that show up in the chat window were actual chat messages, but alas they are not.

Would it be possible to either have the redemptions show up in chat or create a pub sub topic or webhook or both that I could subscribe to in my game that would be able to consume the point redemption events?

As far as we know theres nothing planned at this time.

The current “beta testing” for the feature is on a few channels and seems to center on just testing/gathering feedback.

For all we know they may drop the system altogether based on feedback.
