Webchat now shows username as "display_name"

instead of just first capital letter, webchat now shows usernames as “dislpay_name” from kraken api

how can we get the same via irc, cause i dont see any requests going to twitch api when new messages appear

is there any new option like “twitchclient 3” in irc

Display name is included with messages in the tags under the display-name key. To get the tags you need to request the tags capabilities with CAP REQUEST: twitch.tv/tags
