Hi,

I am not sure if I have placed this in the correct category.

I have pulled a video chats using the Twitch API, some videos dating back to 2013. However, I’ve noticed that there is no chat log. I can see messages posted after the video has been posted (these messages are quite recent 2018).

Is there a time limit to how long a chat stays? Or is it something completely different?

I’d be most appreciative of any help.

Replay chat only exists for videos after a certain point where replay chat existed. It’s a relativly new thing

Not sure what you mean here, theres no official end points for video chat replay…

And the issue is now resolved! I learnt that I didn’t quite understand the created_at field.
