First time posting here, unsure if this is the correct category.
My bot (awesomeuniversebot) is functional in my channel.
When I try it on my friend’s channel, it doesn’t work. (even with moderator permissions)
The bot uses Python (no specific library, just a connection to irc.twitch.tv on port 6667)
Can someone help me with this? Thanks in advance.

Fixed it.
Had to lowercase the channel name in the JOIN message as well as the bot “nick” in the NICK message. It’s my inexperience working with IRC.
