Chatroom selector gone on new twitch website

There used to be a dropdown menu in the chatbar to select group chat rooms or hosted chat rooms. This dropdown is gone in the new site layout.

Is this feature gone forever and group chat is now secretly deprecated, or is it just an oversight?
