Embedding Live Stream

First time here

Have successfully embedded a stream for my brother but when I watched it via the embed I did not show as connected to chat but I did show as a viewer
I am assuming that anyone without an account would show as a viewer?
Is this correct ? Appreciate any response as it’s baffled my thinking

If you only embedded the stream then you are not in chat.

In order for you to show in chat you need to have chat visible too
