I want to authorize via twitch using my app, or get a specific token (maybe Client-ID I am new to Twitch API) which will allow me to send a private message to specific user by their name or user id, but i only see topics about bots replying on whispers, which is not my case because I want to send messages from User to User. Maybe this is not allowed because of potential pm spam abuse? Can someone please give me some hints on this topic! Thanks and have a great day!
A bot is a user
if you login to Twitch via “not the website” you count as a “bot” for the purpose of discussing sending Whispers to users.
You just can’t reliably send whispers via “not the Twitch website”
