Vod chat for helix

If my understanding is correct currently twitch embed does not support vod chat and neither does the helix api.

Will vod chat ever be supported for third-party developers? Twitch currently only allows vod chat to be seen directly on the website.

This data could be used in a great number of ways by third-parties particularly video editors. No? ok. Sadge

It’s never been supported.
There was some undocumented stuff on kraken.
So who knows for helix
