I belong to a group of Twitch streamers and we have a main Twitch channel. I built a “bot” that will search for live streamers within our group and host them on our main Twitch channel. I would like the bot to also notify the host that they are being hosted. Is this “notification” against Twitch TOS?
Isn`t there default twitch`s message about “you are being hosted by USER”?
I think there is, but I don’t think it’s shown to other users in the chat and I’d also like to, albeit shamelessly, advertise our group to others in the chat.
If you have permission from the channel owners in your hosting rotation then you won’t have a problem.
Picking random users and advertising is where you will run into issues.
