Unable to activate any overlay extention

Hello,

I’m having an issue where my main account “val_gorin” cannot activate any overlay extension.
The activation request fails with a Twitch backend error:

ExtensionManagementPage_ApplyExtensionActivations → service error (GraphQL)

Important details:

  • My second account “val_gorin_test” works perfectly on the same device, browser, and network.

  • The issue occurs before any extension logic is executed.

  • The browser shows a failure on the internal Twitch GraphQL endpoint (gql.twitch.tv).

  • This indicates an account-level configuration or permission issue, not a client-side issue.

The regular Twitch Support could not resolve this, so I was told to contact Developer Support.

Could you please check:

  • account flags / extension permissions for “val_gorin”

  • extension slot mapping

  • or any corrupted data related to ExtensionManagementPage_ApplyExtensionActivations

It’s suggesting non useful things and/or non relevant sutff, it’s hallucincating

Got your point with the IA, I know that is unprofessional but I’m french guy, my english is not perfect and when I try to explain my issue to the Twitch support the answer is always that is a third party issue and I need to contact the developers of the applications ! For this several reason, I have use GPT to be sure that my issue is understandable. Because i’m sure that the issue is not due to extension himself but link to my twitch account.

So sorry if it’s not a good solution but it’s the only one I have to fund after 3 or 4 issue open and discussion with the support.

I have seen your comment in my github ticket https://github.com/twitchdev/issues/issues/1124

Unfortunatly I already tr to uninstall and re-install the extension and unfortunatly I have the same issue and same for each extension in overlay option.

did you know who I can contact to try to find a solution ?
