What will happen if I cancel my Apple developer program?

Today we announced that, beginning July 9th, being a member of the Apple Developer Program will no longer be a requirement of having an Extension on iOS.

Policy updates regarding mobile-enabled Extensions on iOS

Earlier this year, Apple made changes to their App Review Guidelines in regards to “mini apps,” which applies to Twitch Extensions. Previously, our guidelines required Extension developers to be members of the Apple Developer Program before testing or publishing mobile-enabled Extensions on iOS.
