In the fall of last year, developers took on three challenges we presented in the Twitch Streamer Tools Hackathon. The result was a wide range of new applications and functionality to support streamers with collaboration, interaction, and stream appearance on Twitch. Our streamer judges (FiniteSingularity, TimeEnjoyed, and IrishJohnGames) had a great time participating and we all appreciated the experiences every participant shared with the community.
In addition to the themed prizes that were announced in November, a bonus prize of $6,000 will be awarded to each of the three projects with the most unique number of authenticated users over the course of the months during and following the competition. We also want to acknowledge a few additional projects that experienced considerable usage following the hackathon and we have decided to award an additional $4,000 to each of these developers as well! It has been a great experience reviewing all submissions and we’re glad to see how many have been adopted by the streaming community.
While the winners of these bonus prizes are listed below, please make sure to browse the entire DevPost project gallery. Thank you once again to every developer who participated in the Streamer Tools Hackathon in 2024.
