Tell when somebody was banned / timeouted?

Hey there,

So when im on the website in the chat i obviously get notifications when people get timeouted / banned. Is this actually part of the irc(special twitchclient?), or do i need to poll some api scope for this? It seems to react way to quickly for me as if it needed polling.

Yes it’s part of the TWICHTCLIENT notifications. You will receive a message from jtv when someone gets timed out.

If you receive CLEARCHAT from jtv, the channel has been cleared… if you receive CLEARCHAT username_here, then it means that the username has been timed out.
